About your guide

I'm Melanie — a certified yoga teacher and reiki practitioner. But not so long ago, I was a Human Resources Director in San Francisco, living a life built around other people's expectations. It took moving to the jungles of Costa Rica to realise that almost everything I had been striving for wasn't mine — it belonged to the version of me that society had shaped.

That unravelling changed everything. As I moved closer to who I actually am, the anxiety that had quietly run my life began to loosen its grip. I stopped performing and started living.


Based in Utrecht, I offer classes, workshops, and private sessions that weave together mindful movement, breathwork, and somatic healing. Because I know what it feels like to be disconnected from your body, to live in your head, to ache for stillness you can't seem to find — my approach is gentle, curious, and deeply personal.

Whether you're working through stress, finding your way back to yourself, or simply craving a little quiet — I've been there. And I'm here to hold space for wherever you are.
